Child Health and Child Survival Programme
This programme reaches to 237 villages from Phagi Block, and 166 from Sanganer Block, Anganwari Centers; each Anganwari area covers an approximate population of 1,000 to 1,500 and sometimes it reaches more. An average of 20 field works, in coordination with monitoring and evaluation officers, are implementing the visit to 20 to 25 households on daily basis. The visits to household are trainings and capacity building of caregivers to mothers, elder siblings, and elders in the house. Strengthening of the government system focus on routine and complete immunization, install of good sanitation practices, and addressing malnutrition in infants and young people.

Complete immunization, key point for the contributing for the reduction of the Infant Mortality Rate, in Sanganer block. It has improved to 98% of the population and the block has been getting award from NRHM this year. Based on the outcome, United Parcel Service Foundation (UPS) has contributed in a similar project for the Phagi block population. The approach to this project is household and community based trainings leading the community to ownership and not depending on government welfare. This programme has reached to a total population of 2,400,000 through direct and indirect methods in Sanganer block, and 10,000 people through direct and indirect methods in Phagi block.
